A method of massage that
interweaves ancient and modern knowledge to provide
restorative thermo-therapy. By using heated stones,
the therapist can provide a wonderful, full-pampering
relaxation massage to specific, focused clinical work
for a wide range of conditions. The heat not only feels
relaxing, but also allows the tissue to soften, which
allows the therapist to work more effectively. Some
stones are placed to remain stationary—providing
continuous warmth with a gentle pressure. Some stones
glide with the therapist’s hands as part of the
massage, and sometimes stones are used intermittently
throughout the bodywork. The comfort level of the client
paramount at all times.
